Eco-building for SEN at Rossendale School

Rosendale Special School wanted additional space that was light, airy and spacious.

Why did you want to develop a separate learning space?

As a specialist SEN provision our pupils need good spaces to be able to engage positively in their learning

What made The Learning Escape stand out from the other providers?

The quality of the space and the “feel” that it was light, airy and spacious. Cost was also a positive feature, with TG Escapes’ building offering good value for money.

What are the biggest benefits you’ve noticed for the pupils and your school/setting/college?

Our pupils feel valued and like the roominess and light of their new learning space. The cedar building also has a warmth that is hard for them to put into words but, basically, they feel comfortable.
