Lasting pavilions and clubhouses for your club

Changing rooms, pavilions, clubhouses, cafes and sports halls all earn their keep over decades, so why settle for a hire-and-return cabin? As a UK specialist in modular commercial buildings, TG Escapes builds these facilities in permanent timber frame with a 50 year-plus design life, creating a lasting asset on your estate. We design every project around how your players, members and the wider community will use the space, with low running costs and a fixed price agreed before any work begins. Public-sector buyers can also access us through the UK Leisure Framework.

Modular sports buildings the whole community can use for decades

A new sports or leisure facility has to perform for decades on a budget that has to last just as long. We design our timber-frame buildings to be permanent, affordable to run, welcoming to the whole community and straightforward to procure for public-sector buyers.

Permanent, not temporary

A 50 year-plus design life means a real asset on your books, with no return date and no replacement cycle, rather than a temporary cabin on hire.

Lower running costs

Strong thermal performance keeps energy bills down for facilities that are open, heated and used throughout the week, season after season.

Designed for community use

Accessible, welcoming, multi-use spaces that work for players, members, spectators and local groups, not just on match day but across the whole week.

Carbon neutral for regulated energy

Sustainable timber frames and biophilic design create bright, healthy spaces that run carbon neutral for regulated energy as standard.

Framework access for public buyers

We are an appointed supplier on the UK Leisure Framework, giving councils, trusts and leisure operators a compliant route to direct appointment.

One team, one fixed price

We design, manufacture and install in-house for a fixed upfront price, with a single point of contact from the first sketch through to handover.

Why TG Escapes for sports and leisure

We have delivered over 800 buildings UK-wide, including over 250 education buildings, and our sports and leisure work spans clubs, schools, councils and housing developers. We understand the realities behind these projects: facilities that come from tight budgets, serve the whole community, stay accessible to everyone, and keep performing for decades rather than seasons.

From first call to handover in six steps

Free consultation and survey

You share your site and your brief. We visit, assess the ground and access, and give you a fixed upfront price. By the end of this stage you have a clear, committed number, not a vague estimate.

Bespoke design

You tell us how the space will be used. Our in-house architects and structural engineers produce a design tailored to your site, your activities and your budget. By the end of this stage you have drawings to put in front of your committee or board.

Planning and funding support

You choose your route. We handle planning as principal designer and principal contractor, and help you fund the building through Section 106 contributions, UK Leisure Framework procurement, capital reserves, or a lease-funded route with a 10-year term and no upfront capital under the IFRS 16 Maintained Schools Secretary of State Finance Lease Class Consent 2024. By the end of this stage you have a viable path to consent and pay for the project.

Offsite manufacture and groundworks

You carry on operating as normal. We build your timber frame and insulated panels at our Coventry workshop while groundworks happen in parallel on site. By the end of this stage the building is ready to assemble, with far less time spent on your site.

Delivery and installation

You keep disruption to a minimum. We deliver and install with our own teams, sequencing the work around your fixtures, opening hours and term dates. By the end of this stage you have a weathertight, fitted-out building.

Handover and aftercare

You receive a finished building ready to use. We hand over with warranties of 10 years on the structure and 25 years on the roof, plus maintenance support. By the end of this stage you have a facility you can open and a team you can call.
