Conferences Coming Up
Matt is getting ready for a couple of conferences once half term is over, beginning with SBM Leaders Live 2015 on Tuesday 24th February at the Wembley Hilton in London.
Organised by Optimus Education, in partnership with the National Association of School Business Managers, the event will bring together the UK’s most effective school leaders and managers for a day of networking and professional development, addressing the most prevalent, current concerns.
This year, issues that seem to be high on the agendas of the school managers approached during the preparation of the conference, include how best to manage time, as workloads increase and budgets, as funding is squeezed. Other key topics to be addressed comprise future proofing budgets; SEN funding and an update on HR and employment law. When you get a moment to walk around the exhibition floor, come along to say hello to Matt and see how the Learning Escape could help you create inspirational, additional classroom space that won’t over extend the budget, or indeed a specialist SEN unit.
The following week, he will be attending the Inside Government Early Years Conference, being held at the Cavendish Conference Centre, London on Tuesday 3rd March. The event offers delegates the opportunity to hear about, and discuss, the Government’s plans to improve Early Years provision. The programme will include advice on the measures being taken to increase collaboration between Early Years providers and the health sector and local authorities; improving the provision for SEN children and the steps needed to achieve an outstanding level of Early Years care.
So, if you are planning to attend and are currently considering building a new nursery building either as an independent entity or within the grounds of your school, then pay a visit to the Learning Escape stand and have a chat with Matt about your plans. He is looking forward to showing you how our eco-nursery buildings can provide a healthy, safe and inspiring space in which to provide Early Years care, on a tight budget and in a brief time frame.
