Official opening at Colston’s School with The Princess Royal
We were excited to hear that one of our buildings had an official opening with The Princess Royal.
Hereβs what the school said about the opening: βThere was great excitement in the Lower School this week when Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal visited to formally open our new nursery, The Hilborne Building for Early Years.
After a tour of nursery and reception, The Princess Royal met members of our Parents’ Society who contributed a large amount of money to make our new playgrounds so spectacular.
Her Royal Highness then met Old Colstonians, Governors, staff and members of the project team who had constructed the building as well as staff members and friends of the school.
A formal ceremony followed where Mr Tony Kenny, Master The Society of Merchant Venturers invited The Princess Royal to unveil a plaque for the new building.
It was a very exciting day for the children, staff and visitors at Colston’s.
