Following a successful tender for a new thirty-hour childcare facility, Tops Day needed to create a 32 place preschool building, within the grounds of their existing Lakeside Nursery in Portsmouth. They needed the new facility to fit with their corporate ethos of eco-sustainable childcare and education and to blend aesthetically with the lush, natural setting and the existing building. And they needed it quickly.

Q1 Why did you want to develop a separate learning space?
We wanted to provide the extra, specialised space needed for an expansion to our existing child care service. Rather than just providing nursery schooling and/or child care for 3-12 year olds, we now offer integrated provision for 0-12s.
